The Cerebral Palsy Research Network is a collaborative initiative that brings together clinicians, researchers, and the patient and family community to improve treatments and outcomes for people living with cerebral palsy.
What sets Cerebral Palsy Research Network apart is its guiding belief: nothing about us without us. The people who live with Cerebral Palsy - and the families who love them - help define what research matters most. That's exactly the kind of organization we want every dollar to support.
Many of us will never personally experience cerebral palsy (CP) or have a loved one living with it. Yet CP is the most common lifelong physical disability beginning in childhood, affecting millions of individuals and families worldwide. Its impact extends far beyond mobility, influencing health, communication, independence, education, employment, and quality of life across a person's entire lifespan.
For decades, CP research has been underfunded and fragmented. The Cerebral Palsy Research Network is changing that. The CP Research Network brings together leading clinicians, researchers, hospitals, and families in a nationwide collaboration focused on one goal: turning research into better care and better outcomes for people with CP. Rather than conducting research in isolation, the CP Research Network connects data, expertise, and lived experience across more than 35 leading CP centers, allowing discoveries to move more quickly from the research setting into everyday clinical practice.
Your support helps accelerate research that identifies what treatments work best, improves access to high-quality care, and gives children and adults with CP the opportunity to live healthier, more independent lives. It also supports families who navigate challenges that too often receive little public attention.
An investment in the CP Research Network is an investment in practical, measurable change. Together, we can ensure that every person with CP benefits from the best science, the best care, and the hope of a brighter future.
